I've been to a nude beach once. It was about ten years ago, and I was visiting my best friend (Zig) in California. Since he was working at the time (plus I think he was married to his first wife then), I had some free time to head to the coast near Santa Cruz.

The beach was sparsely populated, which made it easier for me to bare my pasty white body.

The only reason I knew about this beach is because when I was 16, and on my first trip by myself and my first trip taking an plane anywhere, Zig's parents decided to take a Sunday drive after church. As we drove up the coast I noticed cars parked along side of the road that belonged to the beach goers.

So Zig's mom asks if I would like to stop and see the beach. So dorky me in my church clothes with Kodak Instamatic in hand takes the dirt trail down the side of the cliff to the beach below, with the rest of Zig's family behind.

We get to the bottom, and I'm snapping pictures with my Instamatic, thrilled that I actually get to see the Pacific. Mrs. Zig asks me to stand in this outcropping that has a big hole in the middle. I climb into the outcropping and look through to the other side and see hundreds of nekid sunbathers, frolicking in the sand.

Noticing the stunned look on my innocent face, Mrs. Zig says, "Are there more over there?" Then I look at the beach where I had just been snapping pictures and notice the few people there had no clothes.

Ok, maybe this isn't funny to you, but I was such a goody two shoes then. Given that I'm standing there in my church clothes snapping pictures, oblivious to everything around me...well, I got a big chuckle.

So years later I just had to visit. There was no frolicking, and the foggy weekday made for sparse attendance. But it counts for the record books.

I think we need to get past the notion that nudity = sex. That kind of mindset is for the deprived.

Actually the term you wanted was "depraved" as deprived denotes a state of "lacking" or being without. Are you suggesting only poor people are depraved? Have you tried Viagra for your other problem?

Deprived of what? self control? morality? Unless you have a specific element you feel the hypothetical person would be deprived of, the word you need to use is depraved. You're probably both.
